Hair Help anyone?

I posted a question about going platinum blonde, and I am convinced that it cant be done considering I have a Dark Medium Brown hair colour.

I want to have a drastic change to my hair, but I don't know how else to do it. My school wont allow unnatural coloured hair (green, blue purple etc...) But I want a change that can actually be done. I would like it to cost 200 dollars or below.

if you want drastic you could get black , black with red chunks, your natural color with red and blonde chunks , or maybe your natural color with black underneath and red or blonde chunks... just some suggestions i thought might look good but drastic and that you could still wear at school.

You know how if you are bald go to bosly and they use your hair to put o the bald spots ask if they will do it with someone elses hair and put it in your head.

What about auburn? It's nothing like platnium blonde, but trust me that would be a big pain to keep up with. Auburn is much lighter and also prettier, it looks more natural and would look very good on you with out a doubt! good luck

go for a black if you are white you may be able to pull off the black ...or you can go to a hair stylest and ask them for advice or what they think if your school allows highlights definely go for it

Why you don't try with highlights,increasing the quantity and the blonde tone with the months?. It's the best.

One time i did the same as you want to do now and i almost lost all my hair. I wanted to cut it very short.

Take care, process like that must be done in a pair of months not in one time,and while you;re doing that you have to care your hair a lot (i recommend to use Kerastase products for that).

And if you are using the hairdryer,think again because is a big damage for a decolored hair.

Of course it can be done. You can even do it yourself. If you really are committed to the change go to the local beauty supply and buy "Blue" bleach powder and some 20 lift peroxide to first lighten your hair. After you get the dark out then use the hair dye the next day make sure to buy a super conditioner to put on your hair overnight. You can get a box from the drugstore or have the attendant at the beauty supply help you select the color and the peroxide lift you need for the perfect platinum. Make sure you read the instructions and you will be fine. If you are not as commited then just use the hair dye and see how much lift you have gotten from jus the one process. You have more options with one process. I have been doing my own hair for about 20 years. This should not cost you more than $25.00 and might be a good weekend project. Good luck.
