I have noticed that eyeliner almost makes my eyes look smaller for some reason. Maybe I am not applying it on correctly. My eyelashes are naturally dark, but mascara makes them pop...only trouble is when the raccoon eyes come, they REALLY show up on my skin tone. Any advice? I don't like to wear a lot of makeup . Thanks!

Go with either a dark or medium brown liner. However, with fair skin, light blue eyes and auburn hair, it is best to keep your makeup looking natural. Anything too dark will be overpowering. Try using just the mascara without the liner. It looks more natural.

Use dark brown eyeliner instead of black, or use charcoal instead of black.

yes yes yes i hear this problem a lot! Not everyone should apply eyeliner the same way..from what you said only use eyeliner on the outer part of your eye.(dont fill in your whole eye)!

hmmm. try just putting the eyeliner on the bottom lashes. for your mascara problem use, Max Factor No Color Mascara. its CLEAR and goes on clear so no clumps, and no racoon eyes!

The best mascara in the world is mirenesse secret weapon mascara. You can buy it on www.hsn.com for 19.00 a little much but I promise you will never in your life have raccoon eyes again, it is well worth it. Eyeliner actually does make your eyes look smaller, you must apply a lighter color, since you have blue eyes I would use a grey liner and make sure you put it very close to your lashline, and then with a foam eyeshawdow applicator smudge it, you will have a nice smokey looking eye.
