You might try watching some of the TV shopping channels as they generally sell what is currently in style and the models have current hair styles and makeup. They sell everything from cosmetics and hair products to clothing and accessories. Between that and looking around your local stores you should get a pretty good idea.

Having said that... Create your own style. It's far better to be yourself than to follow the herd.
