Why is hair color a big deal?

Why in the world is hair color/having a weird hair color such a big deal? I've looked through many questions related to dyeing hair blue, etc. and people act like it's commiting a big act of sin to do so or that you're insane, etc. It's just hair for crying out loud. What is wrong with everybody these days? One person answered that someone shouldn't dye their hair blue because there are enough crazy people around??? Someone help me, someone explain to me why this is a big deal?

Why is hair color a big deal?

Because 90% of these people on here are self-conscience.

Why is hair color a big deal?

Because it's a distraction?

I mean honestly, who the hell would dye their entire head of hair blue? I mean, I understand like tips or streaks. But come on, the whole head?!

But yeah, people shouldn't freak out so much. Its just dead hair after all.

Why is hair color a big deal?

it's all in the mind, just because it's not "the usual" color, people will think it's different or "hey, that person is a rebel" or something like that. They think since they have wild colors, it means that person is wild as well....people can be so stereotypical..

Why is hair color a big deal?

They are self conscious about the way they look and they think that if they die their hair blue, green, purple, orange, etc. that they will stand out more and possibly become popular because of the color or colors of their hair, which doesn't aways work because other people think they are strange. So they think of other ways to stand out which can be quite ridiculous sometimes.
