I am in need of a new hair colour.

I have cool tones.

Very light skin

Blue eyes

Currently my hair is medium brown.

My friends say go darker. I was thinking trying blonde?

I have done the red hair thing, and I really don't want anymore red in my hair. It is a pain to maintain. Even red high lights are a no no.

I don't think you should go darker if you have very light skin and blue eyes, personally. Same for blonde. Do a dirty blonde almost tan

I would recommend getting a few foils put into the top to see how you would like it first then to do a partial or even a full foil all over. Do not listen to your friends because previously colored hair is very porous and going darker can be harder to lighten. Also previously colored hair will grab color and turn it an ugly darker color that you will not like. Try the few foil blonde highlights first and they usually are inexpensive. Where I work, we have a special going on where you can get 5 foils for $3.00 each. If you have a Hair Cuttery near you, that is where you should go to get this special. then you can decide whether or not you want more. You can even get it toned to a honey color.

youre going to think im crazy but with your eye color and skin color, black hair can look amazing!! if i had blue eyes and light skin i would dye my hair black because its so stunning, and if you get the right tone (no blue or anything unnatural) it can keep from looking gothic like you might think.
